Who we are and what we do

Stolarija V&M is the trading brand of VIM GRADNJA DOO, a company registered in Nikšić (tax ID 03700836, business registry 5-1264512/002, VAT 40/31-04266-1). We make PVC and ALU joinery to measure for residential and commercial buildings across Montenegro. We handle the survey, production, installation and service as one service, without middlemen.

The product range covers PVC windows, PVC doors, ALU windows and doors, PVC and ALU sliding systems, roller shutters (strap, winder or motor), insect screens, exterior shutters and glass railings. Each element is made for the actual opening dimensions and the chosen configuration — not out of a stock catalogue.

Our headquarters is in Nikšić, at Gornje polje – Vir bb. From there we cover all of Montenegro: Podgorica, Budva, Tivat, Kotor, Herceg Novi, Bar and the coast, as well as the interior. We work Monday through Sunday, 07:00 to 21:00.

How we work: from the first call to installation

The process starts with your enquiry. Send us the number of openings, rough dimensions and the building location, and we set a date for the free on-site survey. We prepare the final quote only after measurement and a conversation about profiles, glazing, colours and hardware, because two prices per m² can hide very different products.

Once you confirm the quote, production starts to the agreed specification. The lead time depends on the system, scope and current production schedule, so we always state it in the written quote before signing — no surprises.

During installation we dismantle and remove the old joinery for free. After installation we check every sash, the seals and the hardware with you. The warranty runs from 1 to 5 years, depending on the product, and is stated in the written quote before signing.

Who we build for

We work with apartment and house owners across Montenegro, with developers of tourism properties and with apartment owners. Renovation projects in Podgorica and on the coast are frequent, as are full fit-outs of new builds. One important client group is the diaspora — people building or renovating from abroad. For them we handle planning and selection remotely, with measurement and installation on site.

On materials, PVC joinery is the choice for residential spaces where thermal insulation, acoustic insulation and easy maintenance are the priority. ALU joinery is the choice for larger openings, panoramic layouts and buildings exposed to the coastal climate, because aluminum handles salt and humidity without corroding.

For every property type we check what actually makes sense: the profile, the glass thickness, the opening method and the colour, and we choose a system that fits real use. We do not push the same product into every quote.

What we insist on

Quality starts with the choice of hardware and glass, not just the profile. The hardware is what works every day — it opens, closes, keeps the sash aligned and seals the frame. That is why every quote states the hardware manufacturer and the glass type, so comparing offers is meaningful.

For profiles we use proven systems [CONFIRM WITH CLIENT: which profile manufacturers — Rehau, Veka, Alumil, Aluminco…]. We provide certification and technical documentation on request, before or with the quote.

We take the measurements, not you. Precise measurements and proper installation-opening preparation are the difference between joinery that works for years and joinery that starts leaking right away. The responsibility for measurement and installation sits with us.
