Aluminum joinery is the collective name for windows, doors and sliding systems built from thermally broken aluminum profiles. It is marked by slimmer profiles (more glass in the same opening), high stiffness and resistance to salt and moisture, which makes it the first choice for buildings on the coast and for panoramic layouts.
Profiles split into cold (without thermal break) and warm systems (with thermal break). Residential and commercial buildings use only warm systems — cold profiles are reserved for utility spaces and internal partitions.
Surface treatment is either anodizing (metallic finish) or powder coating in a RAL color. Standard residential shades are anthracite (RAL 7016), white and brown; commercial and luxury projects can specify special shades.

03 / V&M Wide panoramic openings — ALU sliding and lift-and-slide (HS) systems with glass up to 4 m per sash.
Explore aluminum sliding systems ↗Aluminum carries more load than PVC, so sliding doors 3 to 4 m per sash work without sag — impossible for PVC at the same dimensions. That is why ALU is the standard for panoramic layouts facing the sea or the garden.
The material does not corrode in a marine climate. The protective oxide layer plus powder coating or anodizing extends service life on the coast past 25 years, with no repainting and no color change. That is why hotels, apartment blocks and villas along the coast choose it.
The thermal break in the profile reduces heat loss to a level close to PVC of equivalent class, while keeping all the advantages of aluminum. For residential spaces outside the coastal belt, PVC joinery is often more economical — keep ALU for large openings and the main views.
A hybrid system that combines aluminum on the outside with timber on the inside. Outside it offers aluminum durability and resistance; inside, the warmth and natural look of wood. Ideal for villas and premium residential projects.

The coast is the natural area for ALU — Budva, Tivat, Kotor, Herceg Novi and Bar account for most of our ALU projects. We also handle panoramic openings in Podgorica and Nikšić, as well as commercial buildings across Montenegro. Delivery and installation are organized from Nikšić, with no extra transport fees for standard locations.

A thermal break is a plastic insert in the profile that stops cold from passing directly from the outside to the inside of the aluminum. Without it, ALU joinery has poor thermal insulation and condensation inside. Every residential ALU system we offer has a thermal break.
ALU joinery has slimmer profiles and handles larger openings (over 2.5 m per sash), resists salt and moisture, and is ideal for the coast and panoramic layouts. PVC has better baseline thermal insulation and a lower price per m², so it is more common in interior residential spaces.

No. Aluminum forms a protective oxide layer that makes it resistant to salt and moisture. Additional surface treatment (anodizing or powder coating) extends service life in a marine climate past 25 years with minimal maintenance.
ALU is the first choice for panoramic layouts, large sliding systems, hotels, apartment blocks and villas on the coast. It also fits commercial buildings, storefronts and taller spaces that need higher profile stiffness.
