Aluminum windows are the choice when you want a modern look, maximum durability and a large glazed surface combined with a slim profile. They suit villas, apartments, hotels and residential buildings along the coast where humidity, sun and salt air are major factors in longevity. Before quoting we define the profile, the level of thermal insulation and the appearance that fits the property.
Does not warp or change shape — performs for years without deformation.
Larger glazed area for the same opening size.
Prevents condensation and heat loss through the metal profile.
Powder coating in all RAL shades, anodized variants.
We remove and dispose of existing joinery at no cost.
A properly maintained ALU window lasts for decades.
The price depends on the actual measurements and configuration. The overview below shows the factors with the greatest impact on the quote - we confirm the final amount in a written specification after a free on-site measurement.
| Factor | Impact |
|---|---|
| With thermal break vs without | Without thermal break is cheaper, but only for utility and interior openings |
| Glass | Double is standard, triple for better insulation |
| Color and finish | Standard powder-coated (RAL), anodized + 25–40% |
| Dimensions and sash count | Larger openings require stronger hardware and thicker profile |
| Profile | Aluminum with thermal break (recommended) or without |
|---|---|
| Glass | Double or triple, Low-E or acoustic |
| Opening | Single sash, double sash, fixed — per project |
| Hardware | Matched to the chosen system and sash weight |
| Colors | anthracite, black, white, wood decor, anodized |
Aluminum offers high strength at low weight, which allows slimmer profiles and larger glazed surfaces than other materials. It does not warp with temperature changes and does not shift shape over time, so large sashes are possible without the risk of deformation. For contemporary buildings with a view, this is often the best compromise between appearance and function.
In addition, aluminum resists humidity, sun and mechanical damage, which matters on the coast. Powder-coated or anodized finishes protect the surface from corrosion and fading. A properly maintained ALU window lasts for decades with minimal intervention.
The thermal break is a polymer insert that separates the inner and outer parts of the aluminum profile. Without it the window would conduct heat and generate condensation, because aluminum is a very effective thermal conductor. For all residential spaces, aluminum profiles with a thermal break are used.
The non-thermal-break variant is cheaper but only used where heat loss is not a concern — utility rooms, outdoor partitions, unconditioned buildings. For all classical windows on residential buildings, the thermal break is mandatory.
Double glazing with a Low-E coating covers most residential needs and delivers good thermal insulation. For properties in windy or very cold locations, and where energy savings are prioritized, triple glazing is used. The choice depends on the opening position, orientation and type of building.
For apartments on busy streets or hospitality properties, acoustic glazing is available. The specification of the finished window is included in the quote — the value for the glass alone differs from the value for the complete window with profile and hardware.
Anthracite (RAL 7016) is currently the most requested color for ALU windows, especially combined with a contemporary façade and white interior walls. Beyond anthracite, standard options include white, black, brown and wood decor. Powder coating can be delivered in virtually any RAL shade by arrangement.
Anodized finish gives a metallic tone (silver, gold, bronze, stainless) and extra wear resistance. It is recommended for coastal properties thanks to its resistance to salt air. Confirm the final color against a physical sample before ordering, since screen previews can differ from the real shade.
During installation we check the horizontal and vertical alignment of the frame, the seal against the wall and the operation of the hardware. When replacing, we remove and dispose of the old window at no cost. The warranty is 1 to 5 years, depending on the system, glass and hardware — the exact duration and scope are stated in the quote.
We confirm the availability of specific shades for the chosen system. Please verify the final color against a physical sample before ordering - on-screen rendering may differ from the actual color.
Call us or send an email with basic information about the property and the openings you want to replace. Photos help, but they do not replace precise on-site measurement.
We come to your address in Nikšić, Podgorica, the coast or anywhere in Montenegro. We discuss the choice and go through the details on site.
You receive the specification, price, timeline and warranty before any order is placed. Questions are welcome at this stage.
Lead time depends on the system and order size and is agreed in writing. Please prepare access to the openings before our arrival.
For replacements we dismantle and remove the existing joinery free of charge. We walk you through operation and maintenance.
Send dimensions and request a quote ↗The price depends on profile, thermal break, glass, color and dimensions. We can provide a baseline estimate once we know the number of openings and approximate sizes, and a written quote is prepared after measurement.
With a thermal break and quality glazing, an ALU window can achieve very good thermal insulation. For standard residential use the performance gap is smaller than commonly assumed, but we state specific values for each configuration.
Anthracite (RAL 7016) is currently the most popular choice, followed by black, white and wood decor variants. Other RAL shades are produced by arrangement.
Anodizing is an electrochemical process that creates a protective oxide layer on the aluminum surface. It gives a metallic tone and greater durability, especially in a coastal environment. It costs around 25–40% more than powder coating.
A properly maintained aluminum window lasts for decades. The life of the glass, hardware and gaskets is longer than that of the profile itself.
